The Future is Wild at the Aquarium of the Pacific

Over the weekend of October 10 and 11, the Aquarium of the Pacific in California hosted a weekend of The Future is Wild.

For two days, families visited the Aquarium, seeing illustrations of our future sea creatures, taking part in activities, and completing a souvenir booklet by answering questions from displays of The Future is Wild.

Their guide was Rufus the reef Glider, a creature from the shallow seas millions of years in the future.

There was a competition for children with prizes with a value of up to $500.

One child created a fish ‘so adorable’ that other fish couldn’t bring themselves to eat it!

And guests were intrigued as augmented reality made a sharkopath swim across their t-shirt!
